Dr. Mark Bodzislaw, DAOM, L.Ac., Dip.OM. is a NCCAOM® nationally board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He received his Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the top-ranked Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in Gainesville, FL; and his Doctorate in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA.
He received his initial Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences with concentrations in Political Science and Environmental Policy from the University of South Florida – St. Petersburg. Additionally, he concurrently completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine.
Additionally, he has served in several leadership positions throughout his career, including as Secretary, and later Vice-Chair, on the Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine Board of Governors; Membership Liaison for the Acupuncture Society of Virginia Board of Directors; and Professional Member the American Society of Acupuncturists in both the Nominating Committee and the Student Leadership Committees.
Dr. Bodzislaw’s specialties and areas of interest include Neuropuncture®, Battlefield Acupuncture®, Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Balance Method Acupuncture, Neurology, Immunology, Andrology, Psychology, Fertility, and Plant-based Nutrition. He stays updated with the latest advancements in his field and actively participates in numerous acupuncture conferences and professional development activities.
