David L. Cohen, D.O. has over 40 years of experience as a general medical practitioner. He has been Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture by the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture for over twenty years and was a clinical instructor of “Medical Acupuncture for Physicians” at UCLA. He specializes in the treatment of all types of pain, utilizing a pain treatment technique called Craig PENS.
Dr. Cohen recently attended a seminar with Dr. Richard Niemtzow, the developer of "BATTLE FIELD ACUPUNCTURE", a novel technique being used in the military for sever injuries to control pain. Other subjects addressed were vertigo-dizziness, insomnia, dry eye dry mouth, migraine ,stress, depression, as well as techniques for habit control. Using these techniques in addition to standard acupuncture approaches increases the success of treatment.
Dr. Cohen is one of the few doctors in US who has advanced education and solid knowledge in both Eastern and Western medicine. His unique background allows him to combine the best from ancient theory and leading age technologies, providing optimal solutions to his patients. Dr. Cohen has been a part of the Neuropuncture family since 2018.
