The Neuropuncture 1-Day Workshop offers an immersive, hands-on environment where you will master the clinical skills necessary for advanced electro-acupuncture neuromodulation.
Open to recent graduates, veteran practitioners and senior acupuncture students (limited seats for students), this workshop provides the tools to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and 21st century neuroscience. Learn to accurately needle body, scalp, and auricular Neuropuncture (and classical) AcuNodes, and properly and safely operate your electroacupuncture FDA-approved devices.
MASTER PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS FOR
Electro-Acupuncture and Advanced Needling
This intensive 8-hour training focuses on the mechanics of Electro-Acupuncture (EA) Operations and advanced needling techniques.
Precision Needling
Hands-on training for Neuropuncture’s specific techniques for Hua Tuo Jia Ji nodes, Motor Points, Body Acunodes, Facial Acunodes, Scalp and Auricular Acunodes.
E-Stim Proficiency
Direct hands-on training with FDA-approved Pantheon electrostimulation devices to ensure safety and effective dosage.

Dr. Tanja Brekke, DNA, CN, L.Ac.
Neuropuncture Instructor in training
Dr. Tanja Brekke, L.Ac., DNA is a licensed acupuncturist with over 30 years of experience, graduating from Five Branches Institute with a Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Since 1991, she has maintained a thriving practice, first in Santa Clara, CA, and then in Bozeman, MT.
Dr. Brekke holds a Doctorate Degree in Neuroscience Acupuncture (DNA) from Akamai University in partnership with Neuropuncture, a unique qualification that positions her at the forefront of this evolving field. She is also certified through the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program.
Dr. Brekke’s passion lies in bridging the gap between Eastern and Western medicine. Her evidence-based approach utilizes acupuncture treatments grounded in neuroanatomical research and clinical studies. She skillfully integrates traditional Chinese medical philosophy with Western scientific principles in neuroscience and biochemistry. This deep understanding, cultivated through years of clinical experience, Chinese medical classics study, and ongoing exploration of Western medical sciences, allows Dr. Brekke to optimize acupuncture’s benefits for her patients.
Dr. Brekke played a pivotal role in establishing acupuncture’s place within Montana’s medical landscape. As the first acupuncturist on the Montana Board of Medical Examiners, she actively participated in creating this position and served two terms, including a presidency in 2018.

Please note that your workshop registration fee is non-refundable. In case you need to reschedule your registration, your workshop fee will be credited towards a future workshop minus any applicable fees.

- Four weeks prior: Registration fee minus 25% reschedule fee
- Two weeks prior: Registration fee minus 75% reschedule fee
